Aside from the other Acura vehicles being featured in Marvel's superhero movies, add this to the evergrowing list, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Acura MDX who will play a role in the upcoming The Avengers. It is believed that the S.H.I.E.L.D. MDX with the Sentinel Package has the same Palladium-powered titanium engine, 9-speed transmission and diamond quartz brakes as the Acura Roadster that was spied on The Avengers set. The MDX also has an aerial drone, cloaking devices, bulletproof body, repulsor cannon and an advanced targeting system.
If you want one of these fictitious MDX models, you're going to have to shell out big dough. It's going for almost $6 million. So if you want a bulletproof body or a titanium engine ... be prepared.
